The main purpose of our Quality Management system is to improve our customers' satisfaction while reducing waste. Our Quality Management System is developed from the prospective of looking at the product and process requirements, which have been defined by our customers. Once those requirements have been established, we then create process procedures, work instructions and forms in accordance with the Quality Management System requirements of ISO 9001:2000. ISO 9001:2000 has strengthened our contract review system allowing us to better understand customer requirements and eliminate problems before the start of production. This will improve our ability to meet customer requirements and drive us to reduce customer complaints and internal non-conformances, thereby improving our on-time delivery rating. Previous systems have been implemented and controlled by the quality department alone. The ISO 9001:2000 system involves all employees, with the quality department providing guidance and direction.
